Origin: Street Fighter IV (2008)
Voice Actor: Rod Clarke
Bio: Gouken is the old master of Ryu and Ken, and the brother of Akuma. While he was believed to be dead for several years, he was actually in a deep coma, using the "Power of Nothingness" to prevent his soul from being shattered by Akuma's Raging Demon. He is considered the true master of the shotocon martial arts, teaching Ryu and Ken all that he knows.

Quarter Circle Forward + Attack: Gohadouken (Air OK)
Gouken's standard fireball move, it behaves very much like Ryu and Akuma's Hadoukens. The Light and Medium versions fire straight across, while the Heavy version goes at an upward angle. In the air, the Light version is angled down, while the Medium version goes straight and Heavy goes upward. All versions can be charged for additional damage and hitstun. Using the Special button will make Gouken fire two Hadoukens.
Quarter Circle Backward + Attack: Tatsumaki Gorasen (Air OK)
Gouken's Hurricane Kick; unlike Ryu and Akuma's Hurricane Kicks, the move lifts off from the ground and straight into the air like a Shoryuken. It's quick to start up, but Gouken is not invincible at all when coming down, so the move isn't safe at all. The height depends on the button strength. The air version goes straight forward like a normal Hurricane Kick.
Dragon Punch Motion + Attack: Senkogoshoha
Gouken's forward-advancing punch move. It begins quickly and recovers with moderate speed, so it's decently safe. The button strength determines its total hits:
~Light delivers one punch that causes a hard knockdown
~Medium delivers two punches, with the second causing a wallbounce.
~Heavy also delivers two, with the second acting as a launcher to initiate an air combo.
Reverse Dragon Punch Motion: Kongoshin
Gouken's counter move, which behaves differently from its Street Fighter IV variant. The Light and Medium versions will counter physical attacks, with Light only reacting to middle and low attacks and Medium reacting to high attacks. Heavy reacts to all three attacks as well as projectiles; if hit with a projectile, Gouken will deflect the attack and send it hurtling back at a blistering pace. The recovery on the move is quick enough so that if nobody attacks, Gouken can react quickly.
Attack: Special: Hyakki Shuu
Gouken's Demon Flip is different from Akuma's in that the input is not only different, but there are different attack variations to it. Pressing Light with Special will perform a sweep kick that can hit opponents off the ground; Medium is an arrow kick that can also OTG, but not as well as the sweep kick; and Heavy is a grab. The arc in which Gouken travels is a bit shorter than Akuma's, and also goes at a quicker speed. The startup is average, but if the move whiffs, or is blocked, than Gouken is in trouble because the move is slow to recover.
Quarter Circle Forward + Attack x2: Denjin Hadouken (Level 1)
Gouken's Denjin Hadouken is modified specifically for Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 into a beam hyper. Once you activate the Hyper, you can hold down the buttons to increase the damage and stun of the attack. The Hyper is very safe on block, as it pushes opponents back quite a ways afterward.
Quarter Circle Backward + Attack x2: Forbidden Shoryuken (Level 1)
Gouken's original Super Combo from Street Fighter IV. This move is invincible going up, but is NOT invincible coming back down, so it's best to use this move if you want to pick off jump-attackers.
Dragon Punch Motion + Attack x2: Denjin Shoryuken (Level 3)
Originally, this Hyper Combo was based off of an April Fool's Day article where Sheng Long was reported to be a secret character in Street Fighter III, and this was one of his attacks. Essentially, Gouken performs a lightning-charged Shoryu-Reppa-esque attack with a Rocket Uppercut-like finisher. This attack, like the Denjin Hadouken, can be charged for extra damage, making Gouken's Level Three the only one that can be charged for more damage. The move has good startup, but like many Shoryuken attacks, this one is unsafe if it's guarded.
