It stood in shambles, like a home after the storm. The gym of Team Elemental had, once again, come crumbling down, no thanks to the erratic actions of the team's offensive specialist (and self-proclaimed cool guy) Jason Vanhell. All the team of Jason, Ray Lin Ling, Samara Morgan, Vaan Moonwa, Hitsuki Craigs (and her pet wolf Yashamaru), Tom Henderson, Roy Harrington, Cleric Johnson, Sally Anne Brown, and their captain, Priscilla Chasses, could do was just stand in dissapointment. Would this be the last time the team would even bother trying to repair the gym?

...Not unless some friends of theirs had anything to say about it.

Looking behind them, the rag-tag team of teens saw their friend Papa T, along with his own team, the Showdown Townies, sauntering up to them. A look of concern was on all their faces as they noticed the tumbledown gym behind them. Samara cast a glance at Jason, who arched an eyebrow and backed away from her. Regardless of that, Papa T smiled as he pulled out a screwdriver and wagged it a few times, the look on his face suggesting something. A smile stretched across Priscilla's face as she nodded eagerly. She looked to her friends, who nodded and gestured in agreement; even Samara was in agreement (though she didn't smile like everyone else). With that, Papa T handed Priscilla a hardhat while placing one of his own on (obviously, a Red Sox hardhat) and went for the wreckage, as did everyone else.

Out here the nights are long,
The days are lonely...

Tom Henderson levitated a pile of debris and angled it so Knuckles the Echidna could jump up and punch it into smaller pieces, which were quickly cleaned up by X5.

Donkey Kong and Alphonse Elric lugged the larger debris out of the area of the gym so it would be clear to work.

Ray Lin, Sally, Kari Kamiya and Amber Clearwater went over the blueprints for the interior design of the gym, giggling and laughing together as they talked.

As the last of the debris was swept away using Sakura Kinomoto's Windy card and Priscilla's wind powers, T. Hawk tossed a large piece of rock out with ease, dusting his hands off in satisfaction; Roy Harrington split the debris clean in half using his sword.

While he patrolled the gym floor to make sure there was nothing else in the way, Papa T uncovered something; it was a handphone. Knowing it looked important, the captain pocketed it for later.

Rain pourin' down,

Using a long slab of metal crafted by Vaan, Jason heated it with his fire powers as Steel used his hammer to straighten it into a beam.

Ryu and Gouken straightened the beam on one corner of the gym as Banjo & Kazooie used a Bill Drill to set it down; Vaan then used his control over metal to reinforce the foundation of the gym as Sparky, Tails, Pegasusmon (Patamon's Armor Digivolution) and Angewomon (Gatomon's Digivolution) set the roof down.

Well, our love will chase the trouble away...

With the frame of the gym finished, Edward Elric used his alchemy skills to build up the walls; soon after, the doors and windows of the gym were installed.

Later that evening, everyone gathered around a campfire to roast marshmallows and tell stories. There was one instant where Hitsuki Craigs jumped Manny Rivera and dressed him in an extremely feminine cat costume; everyone shared a good laugh with that, especially Elena, who just giggled and cuddled Manny affectionately.

Early the next morning, everyone got to work on finishing the inside of the gym. Hitsuki covered the steel corners with wood (to give it that "True Elemental Feel") while Gambit tried to flirt with Samara...only to be threatened with a gunshot if he didn't back off.

Sun rise up,

Mario and Luigi used their hammers to straighten out the edges of a pool before Ray Lin filled it using her water powers. Sally gave the two brothers two icy-cool glasses of lemonade (with Jason looking on in anger).

The new day breaks, and...

Winry Rockbell tightened the screws on one of the team's training structures as Chun Li and Little Mac tested the durability of two others.

Samus Aran chipped away at some of the excess metal using her arm cannon while Sonic raced against Yoshi, Jason and Cleric through the obstacle course to test it out.

When all was said and done, everyone looked out and admired the work they had pulled off; Team Elemental's gym had been once again restored. As a finishing touch, Papa T put a sign over the door that boldly proclaimed "Built to Last."

Remembering the handphone he found earlier, Papa T showed it to Priscilla; instantly recognizing it, she practically tackled Papa T and hugged him tightly, thanking him for finding her phone. The big author grinned as he ruffled Priscilla's hair lightly; he was glad he had done something to help his friend.
